While twice-yearly cleanings and proper at-home oral care go a long way toward keeping you healthy, your smile can use all the help it can get. Fluoride, found in some tap water but not all, helps protect your teeth and stave off tooth decay.
At Audubon Dental Center of Clinton, we offer fluoride treatment right here at our office. This is a great treatment option if your tap water does not have fluoride in it, or even if you just want an added layer of protection for your teeth. This treatment is particularly important with children. Not sure if your municipality has fluoride in your tap water? Reach out and we’ll help you determine if your child needs fluoride treatment.
Simple fluoride treatment at Audubon Dental Center of Clinton
Once we have completed your cleaning and exam, we’ll administer fluoride treatment, which is a protective gel that is painted on the surface of your teeth. While you will not be able to eat or drink for about 30 minutes after treatment, the procedure is painless and takes no time at all.
